Head Coach Alen Marcina
(On the team’s second preseason win…)
“I thought we controlled the game from start to finish. You know, we were brave and confident on the ball. Our ability to provoke the pressure and the find the free player either in the wide area between the lines or beyond the last line was really, really good. I think our pressing actions can improve, but we’ll get there.”
(On looking ahead to the start of the regular season…)
“I love the guys. We have a great group of guys that are here and slowly the guys are entering the environment, and we’re trying to get them caught up to speed. Obviously, we did a lot of stuff online, but it’s definitely different than in person. All in all, I’m very pleased with where we’re at. Still opportunity for growth but we’re in a good place.”
